hello!
my name is jasmine & I am the jewellery maker, content creator, photographer, administrator, brainstormer, designer, and owner of sweet like honey co!
this little adventure all started one evening in april 2019, though one could easily argue that it truly started when I was much younger.
my babcia owned a jewellery shop in auckland when I was growing up. whenever we went up to visit her I was given free reign with all of her crystals and pearls and I absolutely fell in love with the process of making my family members and friends necklaces and bracelets. she taught me the basics and inspired my creativity, and the rest is history!
in 2019 I rediscovered this love and so, with the help of some of my closest friends, we launched sweet like honey co! none of this would be possible without the endless support of my friends and family who step in to help model, brainstorm and promote whenever needed.

our mission is to create bespoke yet affordable pieces that are made to last.
high quality jewellery shouldn’t be reserved for only those willing to pay exorbitant prices! we use high quality components and beads made from mother of pearl, swarovski pearl & crystal, glass, millefiori, silver, freshwater pearl and semiprecious stones.
so how do we keep our prices so low? we source as much of our components and packaging products locally in wellington and lower hutt. this helps us keep costs down for you! some of our favourite businesses to support are debbie and the team at village beads, giorgio at vertia print, & packaging products.

no sore ears!
often affordable jewellery is expected to contain nickel, tarnish and overall contribute to a poor experience. as someone with sensitive ears, this was a vital issue to combat. all of our hooks and hoops are made from surgical grade, hypoallergenic stainless steel- this means that they do not contain nickel, tarnish or make your ears sore at all! our rings are also made with tarnish free silver wire, and our necklaces and bracelets are made with silver plated chains.
